This is the trailer for Spider-Man Homecoming released in July 2017. The trailer is a good example of Todorov's Theory of Narrative as it starts off with an equilibrium and ends with a disruption. The equilibrium being high school kids in classes and having crushes this sets a calm normal to the trailer which adds to the effect of something going wrong. The disruption is clearly shown as the villain of the movie makes it difficult for the hero and causes bad things to happen. The disruption is clearly shown as the music changes and there is an explosion, explosions usually connote to fighting and something going wrong. This movie is an action movie and this is also shown in the trailer as there a multiple fight scenes teased in the trailer. The movie is also sub genre comedy which is also shown very well as there are a couple of jokes teased in the trailer to make audiences laugh and capture audiences. The sound is used very well in the trailer as there is happy music up until the disruption to show everything has changed and something bad has happened and this will be the main point of the movie. As the trailer goes on the music becomes villainous and gets quicker to add a tense effect and intrigue audiences. The camera shots work well in trailer, the better shots are towards the end for example the high shot low angle on Spider-Man this shows vulnerability on the hero this intrigues the audience in a different way as audiences are worried for the hero as we don't usually see the hero vulnerable. The mise-en-scene is important for superhero movies as audiences will be majority comic fans and they will be really focused on the costume the superhero has to wear, it is used very well in the movie as it is clearly shown who is the villain and gives us a good look at our hero.
