Gore Zombie Scene 2

We also did this shot from scratch. This shot is very similar to the other shot this is because we wanted to show a different angle for this scene. This shot shows more clearly who the person being killed is being the sidekick of our movie. We wanted this in our trailer to show an important death and leave the audience asking question whether he is actually dead or not. The make up again brings this shot to life as the use of the fake blood gives the audience a realistic feeling into the movies horror genre. This shot will intrigue the audience through showing action.

Gore Zombie Scene

We used this shot ourselves made from scratch our make up and mise en scene plays a huge part in this shot as we can see. We have worked hard on the face and arm make up to give across a ruthless zombie killing an innocent person. The face make up is prevalent which helps allude to the genre. The fake blood on the arm is to show the gore and how ruthless the attack of the zombie is. The zombie going into the camera breaks the 4th wall as it feels like the character is aiming at the audience and brings it all together as horror movies scare the audience.

Helicopter Crash Shot

This shot we filmed at Forty Foot Park. We did the same as the other shots and used the green screen with Adobe After Effects.  We had to add helicopter crash sounds ourselves as we did not like the original audio in this shot. We initially intended to use this towards the end of our trailer as a cliff hanger but we have ended up using it towards the beginning as we feel it fits better in the narrative of the trailer. This is effective in our trailer as we feel it adds depth toward our main characters who we are trying to elude towards the main characters being in this helicopter.

Nuclear Explosion shot

This shot we as a group learned a lot from. We did the same as the UFO but this location was Box Hill. We learned how to do this particular shot from a tutorial on YouTube and found it easy to do in the end. We added the sounds separately ourselves and keyed in the nuclear explosion with a green screen and Adobe After Effects. We would like to use this at the end of the trailer to leave the audience asking questions and to have the trailer on a cliff hanger.

UFO Shot

Our location for this shot was Epsom Downs. Putting the UFO in this shot was quite the challenge but we found a way to green screen the UFO on there using Adobe Premiere Elements. We took the footage from our location and took a green screen capture of the UFO and was able to put them together. This shot is effective to the movie as it really captures the Sci-Fi genre to the audience. I think it was a very important shot to use despite not showing a lot of this scene to the audience. Having this shot shows a dark force or a form of evil to the movie, this shot is conventional of there being a dilemma.
